The definition of GEMBA Walk is to see how our actual process is going on, understand the process and work done by the workers, ask question, learn from those who do the work (show respect to them). It is responsibility of the management and support staff to break away from their daily task and walk to floor to identify wasteful activity. Agenda s is to identify potential improvement opportunities & problems

Gemba Walk Checklist: What are you currently working on? Is there any established process for this type of work? Do you have any problem with the established work? Why is the problem? How can you fix the problem? What do you do to recognize the root case of the problem? Who do you speak with if there is a certain problem? Key Element: Observe don’t correct. Value add activities.
